Israeli air attacks across southern Lebanon left 17 civilians dead, according to Lebanese media reports. The strikes targeted several towns – from Tayr Debba to the coastal city of Sidon – killing dozens of residents and injuring others.

In Tayr Debba, four drone‑guided attacks hit residential sites, taking nine lives. Nearby, a car in Sidon was set ablaze by an Israeli drone, killing two occupants.

Hezbollah announced it would continue to target Israeli troops and artillery positions in the south, while Iran warned that Israel could face renewed hostilities if the attacks persist.

Meanwhile the United Nations has dispatched a human‑rights team to Lebanon to investigate violations and will publish findings at the end of July. The conflict, which began in March when Israel struck Iran’s Supreme Leader’s convoy, has already cost 3,696 Lebanese lives and left a quarter of the country dislocated.
