SINGAPORE, Nov. 3 — Singapore’s services sector is poised for a gradual upswing, according to a survey released by the Department of Statistics that captures expectations spanning from October 2026 to March 2027.

In its weighted balance, 15 percent of firms foresee a more favourable business outlook, while 21 percent express outright optimism; a small 6 percent anticipate a weakening of conditions.

Every segment of the services industry—ranging from finance and logistics to professional and administrative services—projected a positive trend for the six‑month period ahead.

The survey also highlights confidence in revenue streams, with a net 16 percent of companies expecting operating revenue to rise during the last quarter of 2026.

These figures suggest that, even as global economic uncertainty lingers, Singapore’s service companies remain cautiously upbeat, ready to take advantage of the anticipated gradual recovery in the near term.
