Tajikistan projected state budget revenue at 80.1 billion somoni (about 8.7 billion U.S. dollars) for 2027, a 23.2 percent increase from the 2026 figure, the presidential press service reported after a government meeting chaired by President Emomali Rahmon on Thursday, Oct. 30 in Dushanbe.

The meeting reviewed a draft state budget law for 2027 and projected revenues for 2028 and 2029, which are expected to reach 90.2 billion somoni and 104.6 billion somoni respectively.

Rahmon instructed ministries and agencies to advance digitalization, enhance electronic data exchange, broaden the tax base, clear tax arrears, boost domestic production, and reduce imports to meet the 2027 target.
