On the evening of November 2, 2026 the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) announced that it had delivered drinking water to 342 displaced families in Yemen’s Aden Governorate. The Saudi Press Agency reported that the delivery was part of an emergency response initiative aimed at providing safe drinking water and meeting basic needs for families displaced by conflict.
Saudi Arabia also reported that it supplied over 1.3 million liters of safe drinking water across Yemen, distributed through 58 designated points to support displaced people, host communities and other affected populations. The agency did not specify how many of the recipients at these points were among the Aden families highlighted by KSrelief.
Both reports emphasize Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian assistance in the region. The SPA source confirms the exact number of families receiving water in Aden, while the WE News source confirms the broader water supply scale without tying it directly to the Aden deliveries.
