Saudi Press Agency announced on November 5, 2026, that King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSH) in Riyadh is among the top 5% of hospitals in Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals and Clinics for Medical Tourism 2027 list.

The ranking reflects KFSH’s excellence in oncology, neurosciences and organ transplantation, and highlights the hospital’s recent Global Healthcare Accreditation (GHA) for Medical Travel Services, which awarded it a compliance score of 95%.

According to the agency, KFSH provides a comprehensive continuum for international patients, from initial consultations and medical assessments to travel coordination, airport reception, accommodation, specialized treatment, and post‑treatment follow‑up.

Other recognitions cited include KFSH’s position as the first‑ranked hospital in the Middle East and Africa and 12th globally among the world’s top 250 academic medical centers for 2026, and its designation by Brand Finance as the most valuable healthcare brand in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East in 2026.

The announcement frames the achievement as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to boost the global competitiveness of its healthcare sector and establish it as an international destination for advanced medical care.
