A 56‑year‑old nurse, Dawn Light, has been charged with aggravated intimidation of a juror after she was arrested for photographing jurors outside the Plymouth courthouse during the live‑streamed trial of Lindsay Clancy, who faces murder charges for killing her three children.
Light, who has no prior criminal record, allegedly positioned herself in a restricted area outside the courthouse and took photographs of jurors as they exited the building on Tuesday. Prosecutors said they found a deleted photo folder on her phone containing images of these jurors, prompting her arrest.
She pleaded not guilty, and her lawyer claimed the situation was a misunderstanding. The case has sparked widespread media attention, highlighting the heightened security measures taken to protect the trial’s sanctity.
The Plymouth jury has been deliberating since Thursday, and Judge William Sullivan has imposed a strict order prohibiting the photographing or filming of jurors.
