In brief

Ukrainian drones struck warehouses run by Russia’s largest online retailer, Wildberries, in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk, killing three and injuring 15 workers. The attacks come amid a series of drone strikes on Wildberries sites across Russia, including Tambov and Elektrostal, which killed eight people the weekend before. The Russian state has accused Ukraine of targeting Wildberries because it allegedly supplies dual‑use goods to the Russian army. Satellite imagery shows extensive damage in Elektrostal and several warehouses in the Stavropol region, while drone debris damaged an oil depot and a company in Armavir.

Ukrainian Drones Hit Russian Wildberries Warehouses, Injuring 15 Workers

Ukrainian drones struck warehouses run by Russia’s largest online retailer, Wild Berries, in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk, causing large fires and injuries. Five people in Nevinnomyssk and ten in Krasnodar were hurt, with three seriously wounded. The attacks mark a second time in four days when Wild Berries facilities were hit over the weekend in Tambov and Elektrostal, where eight people killed.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian drones targeted logistics hubs supplying the Russian army with components, navigation equipment and other goods. Wild Berries founder Tatyana Kim confirmed workers were evacuated after the strikes.

Satellite imagery shows destroyed buildings and burning debris in Elektrostal, near Moscow. Drone fragments also damaged an oil depot in Krasnodar and a company in Armavir, setting fires without injuries. In the village of Dinskaya the drones hit two homes and two apartment buildings with no casualties.

According to the Ukrainian Security and Cooperation Centre, Wild Berries was used by Russian volunteers to buy military equipment. Striking the retailer’s warehouses aims to disrupt the supply of dual‑use goods to the Russian army and strike a blow to the economy and morale.

The attacks have hit hundreds of sellers relying on Wild Berries for income. One seller described her goods being lost to the fires, adding grave concern for future operations.
