In brief

On November 4, a Ukrainian‑originated drone hit the Ozon logistics center in Adygeysk, Adygea Republic, sparking a fire that forced the evacuation of staff and temporary suspension of operations. Ozon reported no injuries and shut down the affected hub, removing inventory and canceling unfulfillable orders. While the attack confirms ongoing Ukrainian drone operations against Russian commercial sites, broader claims about systemic targeting and the number of drones downed remain unverified.

A drone attack raised flames atop the Ozon logistics center in the town of Adygeysk, Russia's Adygea Republic, overnight Wednesday, November 4, as reported by United Press International.

Ozon stated in a press release,

"Our logistics center in the Adygea Republic was attacked by a drone,"
and added that all employees were immediately evacuated and no injuries had been reported. Emergency services were on the scene, a UPI report noted.

The UPI piece said the fire broke out and a portion of the building’s roof collapsed, and that the center occupies roughly 10,000 square‑meters. Following the incident, Ozon removed products from its online store, cancelled orders that could not be fulfilled, and suspended the acceptance of new deliveries at the hub; shipments already sent were redirected to other centers.

Other reports indicate that Ukraine has targeted Ozon and its competitor Wildberries over the past months and that Ukraine’s military recently launched attacks on facilities linked to Russia’s industrial‑military complex. The Kyiv Independent and Ukrinform also noted that Russia’s Defense Ministry said it shot down 709 drones overnight over 11 regions. These claims have not been independently verified and remain unconfirmed in the present account.
