New Lawsuit Allegations Against Sean 'Diddy' Combs Linked to 2006 Incident
Latroya Grayson files a lawsuit in SDNY alleging sexual assault and battery linked to a 2006 contest win to attend a party hosted by Combs.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is now facing serious allegations in a new lawsuit filed by Latroya Grayson in the Southern District of New York (SDNY). The complaint, brought forth by attorney Ariel Mitchell, includes claims that Grayson was lured to a 2006 ‘Black Party’ event through a contest sponsored by the Oklahoma radio station KJAMZ 105.3 FM, which was partnered with Combs.
The lawsuit identifies multiple defendants, including Bad Boy Entertainment, Atlantic Records, Mike Savas, Delta Airlines, and the Roger Smith Hotel. It claims that Grayson, who was 23 at the time, was invited as a guest on behalf of her half-sister, albeit her identity remains undisclosed. Notably, the complaint runs for 45 pages and is detailed enough to illustrate the events leading up to the alleged incident.
In her accounts, Grayson describes how after winning the contest she traveled from Oklahoma to New York City. Upon arrival, she remembers interactions with artists such as Babz from Making the Band and Bonecrusher at the event. However, Grayson states she eventually fell ill after consuming two packaged drinks, leading to a blackout that resulted in her awakening at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center. She believes she was drugged, assaulted, and robbed during the event, which she claims took place at Diddy’s party.
Adding to the distressing narrative, Grayson reports receiving a menacing phone call urging her not to pursue legal action against Combs after she returned home.
The lawsuit further alleges that the actions of the defendants amount to racketeering, insinuating a coordinated effort that enabled Combs’s alleged misconduct. Former Atlantic Records employee Mike Savas is highlighted within the lawsuit; at the time, he served as a Promotions Coordinator for the company.
As of now, Savas operates the company SuperFan Live, helping fans organize experiences with top artists, and he maintains a public profile through a travel-focused YouTube channel. However, critics suggest that his current travels abroad may complicate legal proceedings against him. As Grayson and her legal representatives push forward, the implications of this lawsuit may add to the growing scrutiny surrounding Combs and his associates.
