Legendary Motown artist Smokey Robinson, renowned for his contributions to the music industry, is facing serious allegations from four former employees who have filed a lawsuit alleging sexual assault and labor violations. The suit, submitted on Tuesday, includes claims of sexual battery, including rape and false imprisonment, against the 85-year-old musician.

Robinson's attorney, Christopher Frost, has vehemently rejected these allegations, describing them as "vile" and "false." He contends that the case is an unscrupulous attempt to extract $50 million from Robinson, further asserting that evidence will disprove the claims as the case unfolds.

Known for classic hits like "My Girl" and "Tears of a Clown," Robinson has made a lasting mark on the music industry, serving as the vice president of Motown Records. Beyond his role as a performer, he is acknowledged as a prolific songwriter with credits on over 4,000 songs.

The lawsuit not only names Robinson but also points to his wife, Frances, claiming she contributed to a hostile work environment. During a press conference held by the plaintiffs' attorneys, they characterized Robinson as a "serial and sick rapist" who poses a threat that must be addressed.
