A New York judge has declared a mistrial in the Harvey Weinstein case after a juror refused to return to the jury room, halting discussions on an alleged 2013 rape of actress Jessica Mann. This mistrial follows a mixed verdict wherein the jury convicted Weinstein of one sexual assault charge while acquitting him of another. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg intends to retry the unresolved rape charge, indicating that Mann is ready to testify again for the pursuit of justice.
