In a recent announcement via Truth Social, Trump praised Bruce's performance in her current role since his presidency began, highlighting her dedication and effectiveness. He stated, “I am pleased to announce that I am nominating Tammy Bruce, a Great Patriot, Television Personality and Bestselling Author, as our next Deputy Representative of the United States to the United Nations, with the rank of Ambassador.”

Bruce, who spent over two decades as a conservative contributor to Fox News, is known for her critical stance on liberal agendas, as expressed in her book “Fear Itself: Exposing the Left's Mind-Killing Agenda.” While the timeline for her confirmation and appointment remains unclear, Trump emphasized that she is poised to represent the United States “brilliantly” on the global stage.

During her time as spokesperson for the State Department, Bruce has staunchly defended some of the Trump administration's controversial foreign policy decisions, such as stringent immigration policies and the use of private military contractors for humanitarian missions in areas like Gaza.

Currently, Trump’s nominee for the UN ambassador role, Mike Waltz, awaits Senate confirmation, and the acting representative is Dorothy Shea, who has served as deputy ambassador.
