In brief

The final day of Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 in Dubai showcased a range of high‑tech solutions aimed at improving food production efficiency, quality and resilience. International buyers and decision‑makers engaged directly with exhibitors, exploring new equipment investments and creation of future‑ready facilities. The event will move to the Dubai Exhibition Centre in 2027, continuing its focus on integrated food‑industry innovation.

The 12th edition of Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 concluded Saturday at Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing industry leaders from around the globe to examine how cutting‑edge technology can reinforce global food security.

Constituting one of four co‑located exhibitions—including GulfHost, ISM Middle East, and Private Label Middle East—Gulfood Manufacturing connected the entire food‑production value chain, from ingredients and processing to packaging, automation and foodservice equipment.

Mark Napier, Vice President of inD, said, “Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 has demonstrated the continued strength of the global food manufacturing industry, with exceptional international attendance and an outstanding calibre of buyers. What has been particularly encouraging is the level of serious commercial engagement on the show floor, with decision‑makers exploring new production lines, evaluating major equipment investments and progressing real business opportunities.”

Napier added that strong international participation reflected Dubai’s resilience and its capacity to support global business amid economic and geopolitical uncertainty, citing food security’s reliance on reliable production, processing and transportation linked through an integrated network of factories, equipment, ingredients and logistics services.

The exhibition highlighted technologies and solutions designed to improve productivity, maintain product quality, optimise resource consumption and reduce operating costs. These advances help manufacturers strengthen efficiency and operational resilience, allowing them to adapt to evolving market demands and build more future‑ready facilities.

Gulfood Manufacturing will relocate to the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai for its next edition, scheduled from 1st to 3rd November 2027, continuing its focus on fostering industrial progress in the Middle East and beyond.
