FBI agents are seeking the public’s help in identifying four individuals captured in surveillance footage near a mass shooting that occurred in Leland, Mississippi, leaving six dead and over a dozen injured over the weekend. The FBI's Jackson Field Office released images that show one woman and three men, referred to as 'unknown suspects.' Although the motive remains undisclosed, initial information suggests the gunfire was prompted by a disagreement among several individuals.

The shooting incident occurred shortly after a high school football game during homecoming festivities, marking it as one of the deadliest of several weekend shootings in the state. Four people lost their lives at the crime scene, with eyewitness accounts describing a chaotic and tragic aftermath.

In further violence across the state, a separate shooting in Heidelberg resulted in two other fatalities, including a pregnant woman. An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder related to that incident, which also coincided with local homecoming events.
