Good Good Golf Apologizes After Controversial Ad Shows woman being pushed

Good Good Golf, a popular golf‑centric YouTube channel, has issued an apology and taken down a promotional video for Callaway’s new driver after viewers accused it of trivialising violence against women. The clip showed co‑founder Garrett Clark pushing professional golfer and content creator Alexis Miestowski to the ground as she reached for a club, prompting a swift backlash on social media.

The brand thanked followers for “the swift response” and declared that the content “does not align with our values” and would be removed. In a statement on X, Good Good promised to continue its mission of making golf welcoming for all players.

Callaway, which has partnered with Good Good since 2023, expressed disappointment in the posted material but appreciated the quick response. “We look forward to working together to ensure a more inclusive space in golf,” it said. PGA Tour officials echoed that golf “brings people together” and rejected any form of violence, noting the removed video does not reflect the tour’s values.

Founded as a YouTube channel in 2020, Good Good has grown into one of the largest golf content creators, offering mixed‑gender challenges, made‑for‑TV shows, and brand‑sponsored adverts. The organization also features an upcoming Good Good Championship on the PGA Tour scheduled for November in Texas, underscoring its expanding influence in professional golf.
