Cristiano Ronaldo has married his long‑time partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez, in a civil ceremony in Portugal. The 39‑year‑old football superstar confirmed the union with a photo on Instagram, showing two hands—each wearing a wedding ring—highlighting the moment.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez exchanged vows on 11 August in the scenic town of Cascais, near Lisbon. Media outlets described the event as the wedding of the year, noting that the couple’s five children were present to celebrate the milestone.

The Instagram announcement drew more than 3 million likes within a half‑hour of posting. The couple’s romance began when they met at a Gucci shop in Madrid where Rodríguez was working, while Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid.

They announced their engagement on 11 August 2025; Rodríguez posted a photo of a large ring and wrote “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives” in Spanish. Ronaldo’s record‑setting career has seen him score nearly 1,000 goals, and he has played for Lisbon‑based Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia and Portugal. He recently participated in his sixth World Cup, tying a record of appearances with Lionel Messi.
