However, the aftermath saw six female and three male victims dead, with an adult female succumbing to injuries later in the hospital; several others remain hospitalized with critical conditions.

The assailant, a 21-year-old former student, reportedly battled feelings of bullying and had legally acquired his two firearms, one purchased just a day prior to the incident.
