At least three industrial laborers were killed when a heavy concrete arched roof collapsed on them at the entrance of a factory in Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu, on Thursday, a local official told Xinhua.
The official said the roof was under construction when it suddenly came down on the workers, who were waiting outside the factory’s industrial area.
All three deceased were identified as industrial laborers. Four other workers were reported injured. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
