Three people have been killed and 15 injured after a blast at a restaurant in Moscow, police say.
The explosion occurred at about 20:00 local time (17:00 GMT) on Kudrinskaya square, near the city centre. Authorities say the blast most likely took place in the kitchen during a wedding reception that was hosting around 50 guests.
Witnesses reported seeing people rushed out of the building covered in blood, and the streets around the square were briefly shut off for the emergency response. A cycle‑riding event that had been scheduled for that night was cancelled.
Video posted by RIA News shows heavily armed law‑enforcement officers guarding the site and keeping the public off the scene as investigations continue.
