Meghan Tudor in Talks for Netflix's "The Gentlemen" Role

Reports from the BBC suggest the Duchess of Sussex is in early discussions about joining Netflix’s comedy series "The Gentlemen," a project that could see her return to acting after a decade-long hiatus.

If confirmed, the role would be her first significant acting work since marrying Prince Harry in 2018. The series, directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Theo James, revolves around a duke turned drug baron and has already filmed much of its action in the Cotswolds, a region the couple is rumored will host their future UK home.

Meghan’s career in entertainment began with a popular stint on the US drama "Suits," where she portrayed lawyer Rachel Zane. Her last episode aired in 2018, after which she stepped away from screen work, citing a new chapter of life following her royal marriage.

She recently appeared as herself in the upcoming comedy "Close Personal Friends," starring Lily Collins and Brie Larson, marking her first on‑screen appearance in nearly ten years.

The Duchess’s potential return to acting could also bolster her American‑based lifestyle and cooking brand, "As Ever," which she plans to expand while living in the UK.

The decision comes alongside news that Prince Harry and Meghan are moving back to the UK later this month, a shift that has reignited queries over their security arrangements.
