BOSTON (RTW News) — An explosion rocked Harvard Medical School early Saturday morning, which investigations suggest was intentional. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the university police, the situation unfolded after a police officer responded to a fire alarm at the Goldenson Building. While on the scene, the officer noticed two unidentified individuals fleeing from the vicinity of the alarm.

The Boston Fire Department, which assisted in the evaluation of the incident, confirmed the explosion was deliberate. Following a thorough check of the premises, law enforcement found no additional explosive devices.

In their pursuit of the suspects, police have released several grainy photographs showing two individuals donning face coverings and hooded sweatshirts. Authorities continue to urge anyone with information about the incident or the suspects to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
