CARBONDALE, Kan. (AP) — A troubling morning for law enforcement in Kansas as four officers were shot while responding to a domestic violence situation in a rural area south of Topeka. The gunfire erupted around 10:30 a.m. involving three Osage County sheriff’s deputies and one Kansas Highway Patrol trooper, as confirmed by Kansas Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Melissa Underwood.
