In terms of injuries, the ambulance service reported that among the injured, two individuals, including a child, suffered serious harm and were transported to local hospitals while 20 others received treatment for minor injuries at the scene. Notably, a paramedic on a bike was also struck but escaped with minimal damage.
The devastating crash took place along Water Street, near the culmination of the parade route that spanned 10 miles through the city center, drawing in crowds of passionate supporters.
