Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the capture of two Chinese nationals during battles in the Donetsk region, indicating potential for a larger Chinese military presence alongside Russia. Zelensky, in a post on X, noted that the captured individuals were found with personal identification and bank cards, substantiating their claim.
