An escalating dispute has surfaced between Prince Harry and Sophie Chandauka, the chair of the charity Sentebale, which he co-founded in 2006. In a recent interview, Chandauka accused Harry of bullying and harassment after he resigned as the charity's patron, allegedly intending to sabotage the organization due to unresolved conflicts concerning her leadership.
Chandauka expressed her concerns on Sky News, stating, “Can you imagine what that attack has done for me, on me, and the 540 individuals in the Sentebale organizations and their family? That is an example of harassment and bullying at scale.” Her comments suggest a significant strain on the charity, which aims to support young victims of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Lesotho and surrounding regions.
Harry's resignation announcement came alongside that of Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, revealing a fractured relationship between the charity's trustees and Chandauka.
