**Shakira's Powerful Tour: An Intimate Look Backstage**

Experience the calm dedication behind Shakira’s mega-successful tour, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran."

Shakira shares how her children inspire her while detailing the intense effort that goes into her captivating shows.

Deep in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, the atmosphere inside Shakira's production office reveals a blend of excitement and high stakes. A note on the door delivers a playful reminder, “Please come back later... unless you're actually on fire.” This humorous warning hints at the bustling energy required to pull off the year's premier stadium tour, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran," which has amassed over $150 million in ticket sales.

With 64 sold-out performances across North and South America, Shakira has already thrilled more than two million fans. “I've dedicated over a year to perfecting every aspect of this show, so seeing it come to life is incredibly rewarding,” she tells BBC News, radiating an aura of calmness backstage. Instead of anxiety or chaos, dancers stretch, costume makers craft intricate outfits, and technicians meticulously prepare the equipment.

"You'd be surprised; we travel with two washing machines and dryers for the shows,” reveals Hannah Kinkade, head of wardrobe, responsible for maintaining the 300 costumes that the star and her team utilize each night. “Shakira dances vigorously, and we have to ensure the outfits are fresh before every performance.”

As the clock hits 2:30 PM, sound checks commence. Soon after, Shakira, dressed casually in flared jeans and a white tank top, arrives, full of good humor and energy. “I hope I sound as good as Beyoncé did here,” she teases her crew, embodying the spirit of her perfectionism. Her team understands the importance of being ready when Shakira is in rehearsal mode. "When she’s on stage, she’s unstoppable,” notes chief dancer Darina Littleton.

The show, which lasts two and a half hours, features an impressive lineup of Shakira's hits alongside 13 costume changes, masterfully melding dance and performance. From detailed routines inspired by various cultures to electric guitar segments, Shakira delivers a powerful representation of her artistry. The title of her tour reflects her personal journey, stemming from recent heartaches, including her breakup with footballer Gerard Piqué and overcoming family health issues, all while battling tax fraud accusations.

Reflecting on her experiences, Shakira shares, “The past few years have challenged me greatly, but each setback leads to a new beginning." With hits like "Te Felicito" and "TQG," focused on themes of empowerment and overcoming personal turmoil, Shakira finds renewed strength and inspiration.

Post-performance, as Shakira emerges from her dressing room looking surprisingly vibrant, she offers insight into her resilience in the face of pressure. "Every show, regardless of the challenges, means so much to me,” she shares, “and it’s all about drawing strength from the adrenaline.”

Miami marks a significant stop for Shakira, who first moved to the city as a teenager, eager to break into the international music scene. “I arrived as an immigrant—lost and determined,” she recalls. Addressing her journey, she empathizes with today’s immigrants, advocating for humane treatment amidst changing policies in the U.S. “We must stay united and vocal," she emphasizes.

As her show culminates, an emotional highlight arrives during "Acróstico," a ballad dedicated to her children. Sasha and Milan, often seen on-screen during the performance, represent her drive and purpose. "They are my everything. Their support means the world,” Shakira reflects. The boys now have mixed feelings about her performances, often feeling nervous for their mother's success.

Looking ahead, Shakira teases her UK fans: “Stay tuned for possible European dates,” as she plans to share her story with audiences around the globe, continuing her incredible journey rooted in resilience and artistry.
