Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has firmly defended plans to gain control over Gaza City, insisting this strategy is the "best way" to conclude the ongoing war. Shea emphasized that the war "could end today if Hamas allowed the hostages to be freed," pushing back against claims the United States was complicit in allegations of genocide made during the discussions.
