Bianca Castro-Arabejo, famously known as Jiggly Caliente, has tragically passed away at the age of 44, as confirmed by her family. A familiar face from the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, Caliente's legacy extended beyond reality television; she was also a judge on Drag Race Philippines and embraced a pivotal role in the acclaimed series Pose.
Her family shared the heart-wrenching news in an Instagram statement, revealing that she died early Sunday morning surrounded by loved ones. "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente," the statement read.
Having undergone a leg amputation due to a severe infection just days before her passing, Caliente's struggle with health issues was made known to her fans. Her family paid tribute to her spirit, highlighting her "infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity," and stressing that her impact on countless lives through her talent and activism will remain eternal.
