Son of Norwegian Princess Arrested Amid Rape Allegations

Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit, has been arrested on charges related to rape, according to Norwegian police reports. The 27-year-old, who is the stepson of Crown Prince Haakon but lacks an official royal title, was taken into custody following the suspension of his driver’s license and a separate incident that occurred earlier this year.

On Tuesday, authorities confirmed that Høiby is facing multiple charges, including sexual intercourse with a person who was "unconscious or for other reasons unable to resist." Reports indicate that Mr. Høiby has denied the allegations but is implicated in a broader investigation involving assaults against several victims.

Details reveal that the police's charges encompass incidents involving four alleged victims. The latest charge relates to a specific event described as a "sexual act without intercourse," with the victim reportedly incapable of resisting the action. Høiby was arrested at 23:12 local time on Monday while in a vehicle with an individual related to a different incident.
