Investigation ongoing as authorities uncover potential health issues in the passing of popular content creator.
The body of the 46-year-old content creator was discovered at his home in Contes, a village situated north of Nice, earlier this week. French Minister Clara Chappaz has expressed profound concern, labeling the incident an "absolute horror" as she initiated a judicial inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Graven's unexpected death.
Prosecutor Damien Martinelli provided updates on the investigation, confirming that medical examiners found no signs of traumatic injury, including burns. He noted that Mr. Graven had sustained only minor bruises and previously healed lesions. The preliminary cause of death appears to be medical or toxicological in nature, with additional tests pending. Reports indicate that Graven might have been dealing with heart issues and had been undergoing treatment for his thyroid condition.
A spokesperson from Kick, the streaming platform where Graven was actively engaged, stated that the company was performing an "urgent review" of the situation. It has been reported that during his streams, Graven faced incidents of violence and sleep deprivation. He reportedly passed away while streaming live.
As part of the ongoing investigation, prosecutors have interviewed various witnesses present at the scene and have confiscated equipment and footage to investigate the events leading up to his death, which may provide further insight into the factors that contributed to this tragic incident.
