An Israeli airstrike near a health clinic run by an American organization led to the deaths of over a dozen individuals in Gaza on Thursday, according to reports from local hospitals. The attack occurred near a facility managed by Project HOPE in Deir al-Balah, where civilians, particularly children, were present to receive essential nutritional support at the time of the strike.

The Israeli military has stated that the aerial bombardment targeted a Hamas operative involved in previous attacks against Israel, indicating that they are still evaluating the operation. They expressed regret for any unintended harm to civilians caught in the crossfire. This marks a continuation of Israel's broader military campaign in Gaza aimed at dismantling Hamas' operational capabilities, despite the drawbacks of significant civilian casualties.

Footage from the strike corroborated by various sources shows the chaos that ensued, with multiple women and children injured and screams echoing as bystanders rushed to assist the victims. Eyewitness Doaa al-Harazin described the horrifying scene, recalling the sight of torn bodies and the cries of affected women.
