Trump Secretly Swaps Air Force One Flights; Iran Threat Prompted Move

On July 8, President Donald Trump reportedly switched from the U.S. Air Force One onto a different jet during a stop in Ankara, Turkey, allegedly to sidestep a threat from Iran.

According to The Washington Post, the president boarded Air Force One in Ankara, but was transported to a newer, Qatari‑gifted aircraft with the help of a catering truck that moved him quietly from the political plane.

Trump then disembarked Air Force One in the United Kingdom before boarding the new jet and returning to the United States. The president spoke to journalists during the flight but did not confirm whether the plane swap had taken place.

The covert movement highlights the heightened security concerns faced by U.S. officials amid growing tensions with Iran. Officials in Washington have not commented further on the incident.
