SANTA ANA, Calif. — Jon Alan Hale, a passionate Disneyland follower, has marked an incredible milestone by completing his 15,000th ride on the Radiator Springs Racers, an attraction inspired by the animated film 'Cars.' For Hale, it’s not about winning races; it’s purely about the joy of the ride itself.

After undergoing significant health surgeries in 2010 and 2011, Hale revived his love for Disney by frequently visiting the Anaheim resort. He became immediately enchanted by the Radiator Springs Racers ride that debuted in 2012, which led him to start recording each race in a notebook, meticulously noting details such as his car's color and lane, regardless of whether he won or lost.

“I fell in love with the ride,” said the television technician from Brea, California. Through the years, he has visited the park over 1,100 times, averaging 13 rides per visit, thanks to the convenient fast-moving line for single riders.

On Monday, Hale shared the moment of his 15,000th ride with friends who work at the theme park, proudly wearing a 'Cars' themed cap while holding a sign that read '15,000.' He reminisced about the excitement of reaching 1,000 rides, where he was celebrated with applause from Disneyland staff.

“You don’t know who is going to win the race,” he said. The unpredictability of the ride only fuels his enthusiasm. While there is no official record of his feat, Hale emphasizes the friendships and community he’s built over the years, stating, “It’s like family. Everybody recognized me, they’re rooting for me.”

As Hale's journey continues, his love for the ride inspires not only him but also those around him, proving that sometimes, the experience itself is the ultimate prize.
