At least 27 people have died in a massive fire that ravaged a Bangkok bar, Thai media reports.

Firefighters were called shortly after midnight, finding patrons fleeing through the flame‑engulfed front door.

Unverified footage showed flames blasting out as a woman fell to the floor before getting to her feet and escaping.

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told journalists on scene that 27 had died and several were hospitalized, but the cause was still under investigation.
