Amazon Cargo Plane Crash: Five Dead After Overshoot at Miami Airport

Video footage shows an Amazon Air cargo aircraft overshooting the runway during landing at Miami International Airport. The Boeing 767‑300 crashed just before 14:00 local time, after departing Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before heading to Miami. Five people were killed and five more seriously injured. The accident also struck multiple vehicles on the tarmac.

Witnesses reported that the plane overshot the runway, chopping through parked vehicles before sliding onto the runway. Officials said the crash occurred shortly before 19:00 GMT.

One of the five fatalities was a crew member aboard the aircraft; four others were firefighters responding to the emergency. In addition to the fatalities, five people sustained serious injuries, requiring immediate medical attention.
