Years ago, when he relocated to Madrid, Slesinger’s foresight about the continent's pressing defense needs was largely ignored. President Trump’s administration had a significant impact on European perceptions of U.S. military support, with harsh words directed at allied nations that were deemed overly reliant on American defense.

Among the promising European start-ups in his portfolio is Delian, a Greek firm specializing in fixed surveillance towers designed to safeguard coastlines and crucial infrastructures.
