President Trump’s strategy of “Making America Great Again” is reportedly having a surprising influence - uniting various European nations. The European Union faced significant challenges at the onset of Trump’s first term, marked by diminishing public trust, Britain’s Brexit decision, and a sluggish recovery from the global financial crisis that had devastated economies across Europe.

However, after the initial tumult, the tide began to turn around 2016. As the years progressed, European sentiment towards the E.U. has regained ground, with trust ratings reaching near two-decade highs. Leaders within the bloc are not just focused on internal governance; they are also forging new trade partnerships with dynamic economies, such as Indonesia, while establishing defense strategies collaborating with countries like Canada. Recently, the U.K. has made overtures to mend its fraught ties with the E.U.
