Diddy Faces New Allegations of Violence in Balcony Incident Lawsuit
Sean "Diddy" Combs is confronted with serious accusations in a lawsuit involving an incident where a woman was dangled from a balcony.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is embroiled in fresh allegations following a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan. The suit claims that during a confrontation in 2016 at the home of Mr. Combs' then-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, the rapper dangled Ms. Bongolan from the 17th-floor balcony of an apartment. This incident is among a growing list of complaints against Combs, which include charges of sexual assault, drugging individuals, and witness intimidation.
Combs, who is currently facing federal charges related to a racketeering and sex trafficking scheme, has categorically denied the latest allegations, claiming he is confident that these will be proven baseless. In the lawsuit, Ms. Bongolan recounts a night spent at Ventura’s apartment that turned chaotic when Combs allegedly began banging on the door, eventually confronting her while she was on the balcony.
The lawsuit states that Combs reportedly molested Ms. Bongolan before lifting her up and dangling her over the balcony edge. Weighing in at approximately 100 lbs (45.3 kg), Ms. Bongolan claims she struggled for her life as Combs overpowered her. The situation escalated until Ventura reportedly intervened, prompting Combs to pull Ms. Bongolan back inside the apartment.
Having sought $10 million in damages, Ms. Bongolan claims that the alleged incident was just part of a pattern of intimidation and violence she experienced in her dealings with Combs, which began when she was approached to work on various creative projects. The lawsuit draws parallels to a previous lawsuit filed by Ventura, which involved similar allegations of abuse.
With his legal troubles mounting, Diddy is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after being denied bail multiple times. As this situation unfolds, Combs maintains that the truth will emerge in court, assuring the public that the allegations are without merit.
