**F4 Reunion: Taiwan's Iconic Boy Band Delights Fans at Mayday Concert**

Taiwanese boy band F4 unexpectedly reunites during Mayday's concert, sending fans into a nostalgic frenzy.

The beloved F4, known for their role in the hit drama "Meteor Garden," performs to a heartfelt response from an enthusiastic crowd.

Taiwanese boy band F4 thrilled fans during their surprise reunion at Mayday's concert held at Taipei Arena on Saturday night. With an audience of around 40,000, their performance of "Meteor Rain," the theme song from the iconic 2001 television series "Meteor Garden," was met with a nostalgic wave of applause and singing along.

Originally composed of members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Chou, and Ken Chu, F4 rose to fame alongside the series, which became a significant cultural phenomenon throughout Asia. The plot, revolving around a working-class girl and her interactions with four wealthy and spoiled boys known as F4 (short for "Flower 4"), won the hearts of millions and inspired various adaptations across the continent.

The band's formation coincided with the airing of "Meteor Garden," but following their disbandment in 2009, they have only reunited for a few memorable performances. The last occasion was a one-off appearance at Jiangsu's Spring Festival Gala in 2013.

The excitement at the Saturday concert was palpable, with F4's reunion drawing immense enthusiasm from longtime fans, many of whom have began urging the band to announce a dedicated concert tour. Mayday's frontman, Ashin, expressed that bringing the four members together was a significant challenge, saying, "Everyone overcame a lot of obstacles to make this picture a reality."

During the concert, F4 also collaborated with Mayday on the heartfelt ballad, "The Song of Laughter and Forgetting." Jerry Yan shared his gratitude for the reunion experience, reflecting, "This is something I could not have imagined would happen again in my lifetime."

As the members of F4 approach their 50s, they continue to remain active in the entertainment industry. Many fans took to social media, sharing their elation at the reunion and calling for the group to embark on a concert tour together. One fan expressed, "OMG!! Thank you Mayday !! My childhood is alive. It’s crazy seeing [F4] perform again."

Reports from Taiwan's Mirror Media hinted at the possibility of F4 hosting a concert next year to celebrate 25 years since their debut, though this news has yet to be officially confirmed.
