The Trump Organization announces new luxury projects in the Middle East, coinciding with President Trump's upcoming trip to the region.
April 30, 2025, 11:34 a.m. ET — The Trump Organization has reached a noteworthy agreement with a government-backed firm in Qatar to develop a luxury golf course and residential project, which will unfold just ahead of President Trump’s anticipated trip to the region. Eric Trump, the president's son and current head of the organization, is in Dubai this week attending a cryptocurrency conference while promoting these new ventures, which notably include a Trump-branded tower in the United Arab Emirates.
The golf course and housing project in Qatar is being developed in partnership with Qatari Diar, a prominent real estate entity funded by the nation's sovereign wealth fund, and is chaired by a minister from the Qatari government. Emphasizing the project's allure, Eric Trump stated that the golf course would be “beautiful” and feature direct access to the ocean.
These two developments will also be supported by Dar Global, the international wing of the Saudi real estate firm Dar Al Arkan, known for its close affiliations with the Saudi government. The Qatar project was initially reported by Reuters, highlighting the collaborative nature of these ambitious plans.
The president is slated to commence his visit to the Middle East on May 13, covering Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the Emirates, where he expressed optimism about the financial opportunities available for American enterprises.
