Chaos Erupts at Israeli Hospital Following Iranian Missile Strike

Witness Alon Uzi, who was receiving treatment during the strike, described the horrifying moment when he heard a massive explosion, causing part of the ceiling to collapse on him. "I was just getting ready, then I heard a whistling noise," he recounted, still shaken by the experience.

The emergency area inside the hospital was filled with a mix of smells from chemicals and dust, with medical teams still working to transport patients to safer locations within the facility. The Israeli Ministry of Health confirmed that 71 people were injured in the strike. Professor Asher Bashiri, from the maternity ward, described the damage as "unbelievable," noting the extensive impact on the hospital's structure and praising the quick thinking of staff for relocating patients prior to the attack.

Hospital director Shlomi Codish confirmed damage to several wards and indicated plans to transfer over 200 patients to other medical centers as a precaution. The attack drew swift responses from Israeli officials, including Culture Minister Miki Zohar, who condemned the actions of Iran and emphasized the need for strong military retaliation.
