Former Model Accuses Trump of Groping Her in 1990s Encounter

In a recent interview with CNN, Stacey Williams, a former model, detailed her allegations against former President Donald Trump, claiming that he groped her during a 1993 meeting at Trump Tower in New York City. Williams alleges that she was introduced to Trump by disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, with whom she was in a relationship at the time.

During the encounter, Williamson states that "the second he [Trump] was in front of me, he pulled me into him, and his hands were just on me and didn’t come off." The interaction reportedly lasted while Epstein and Trump engaged in conversation. Describing the experience, Williams noted it felt like "an out of body experience," explaining that she felt frozen in the moment.

In response, the Trump campaign firmly denied the allegations, emphasizing that Williams had previously shared her story at a pro-Kamala Harris event. Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt labeled the accusations as "unequivocally false" and asserted that the claims were politically motivated, coinciding with the close proximity to the upcoming election. The campaign further sought to redirect attention to allegations made against Doug Emhoff, Harris's husband, who has faced accusations of past misconduct from an ex-girlfriend.

The discourse surrounding Williams' allegations adds to the long history of women coming forward with claims of sexual misconduct against Trump since he announced his presidential candidacy in 2016. Notably, a civil jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carroll in 2023; Carroll has since won defamation lawsuits against the former president. As the political landscape evolves ahead of the 2024 elections, these allegations continue to fuel debate and scrutiny of Trump's past behavior.
