The peculiar scene was discovered on Saturday by officers near Saint-Malo, with the front of the vehicle resting in a ditch and the rear precariously close to overhead power lines. Concerned for the occupants' safety, gendarmes expressed their hope for the well-being of the driver and any passengers on their official Facebook page.

Witnesses to the event reported seeing the driver, along with two others, leaving the scene shortly after the accident. However, relief followed when the driver later contacted the local authorities on Sunday, confirming that they had not sustained any injuries. As a result, the police have commenced an inquiry with assistance from the public prosecutor's office in Saint-Malo.

The unusual circumstances of the overturned campervan left the tow truck driver, who was summoned to the scene, in disbelief. He commented to the Ici news network, "I've never seen anything like it in my 22-year career." The police continue to seek answers regarding how the vehicle ended up in such a precarious position.
