Diddy Faces New Lawsuit Alleging Assault and Endangerment
Sean "Diddy" Combs is embroiled in fresh legal troubles as a fashion designer accuses him of dangling her from a high balcony during a confrontation in 2016.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing new allegations that could further complicate his ongoing legal troubles. A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by fashion designer Bryana "Bana" Bongolan claims that during an incident in 2016, Diddy dangled her from a 17th-floor balcony at the residence of his then-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. This accusation arrives as Combs has already been encumbered by more than two dozen lawsuits alleging various offenses, from sexual assault and drugging individuals to witness intimidation and physical harm.
In this latest legal challenge, Bongolan asserts that she was staying the night at Ventura’s apartment when Combs reportedly began banging on the door and shouting. Upon entering, he allegedly confronted her while she stood on the balcony, leading to a physical altercation in which he is accused of grabbing and molesting her.
The lawsuit details a harrowing scene where Combs allegedly lifted Bongolan up and dangled her over the edge of the balcony, prompting her desperate attempts to resist. The complaint states that Bongolan weighed around 100 pounds (45.3 kg) during the incident and struggled to avoid being thrown, fearing for her life. It is alleged that Ventura intervened when the situation escalated, after which Combs reportedly hurled Bongolan back onto outdoor furniture.
Diddy's representatives have categorically denied the claims, framing them as unfounded. They expressed confidence that the truth will emerge in court and stressed that anyone can file lawsuits regardless of their validity. Bonoalan has stated that she is unaware of what triggered Diddy’s outburst. She is seeking $10 million in damages, claiming the incident was part of a broader pattern of threats and abusive behavior from Combs throughout their professional relationship, which began with potential collaborations in fashion and music.
These allegations mirror accusations made in a separate suit filed by Ventura, which detailed abuse and ended in a settlement shortly after filing. Bongolan also indicated that her experiences with Diddy have been characterized by intimidation and fear.
Currently, Combs is incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after being denied bail multiple times. His legal challenges now extend beyond individual allegations as he faces serious federal charges connected to racketeering and a sex trafficking scheme.
